Executive Director, Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing
Ms. Henneberry, Executive Director, Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing, leads the agency responsible for managing public health insurance programs including Medicaid and Child Health Plus (CHP+). She is a senior health policy advisor to the governor, developing and implementing health reform policies and initiatives. Prior to the cabinet appointment, she worked in the private sector after spending seven years at the National Governors Association providing consultation to states on health care services and financing, cost containment, and emerging policy issues. Ms. Henneberry spent 13 years at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.
